Recorded result
$195,000 Dec 9, 2025; later $180,000 July 8, 2026

Ford identity
2021 Mustang Shelby GT500 coupe; VIN 1FA6P8SJ6M5502066. Shelby American CSM 21KR0027 identifies the later KR conversion.
Engine / induction
5.2-liter supercharged V8; Shelby conversion uses a 3.8-liter Whipple supercharger, revised intake and higher-capacity charge-air cooling.
Output basis
Shelby program rating: 900-plus flywheel hp. The old auction's rear-wheel estimate is not an independently verified dyno measurement.
Transmission / drive
Tremec seven-speed dual-clutch; rear-wheel drive. Ford sticker lists Torsen differential and 3.73 axle ratio.
Chassis changes
Shelby program includes height-adjustable springs, caster/camber plates, sway bars and MagneRide recalibration; specific installed condition not tested.
Wheels / exterior
20-inch Shelby forged wheels; carbon-fiber body elements. Historical photos show bright wheels, red calipers and dark front/rear aerodynamic pieces.
Factory options
Technology Package $3,000; Handling Package $1,750; Kona Blue vinyl over-the-top stripes $1,000 on photographed Ford sticker.
Interior
Ebony leather/Alcantara with later blue accents and KR embroidery. Heated/cooled front seats and Ford infotainment remain part of the documented specification.
Original pricing
Ford total MSRP $79,845; Shelby build-sheet order total reported as $55,898. Neither figure is a current valuation.
Historical condition
The December 2025 seller reported no track or salt exposure, no paint-protection film or ceramic coating, and a splitter guard. These statements describe that ownership period, not a current inspection.
Power claim
The old advertisement estimated 900 rear-wheel horsepower. Shelby literature specifies 900-plus flywheel horsepower for the KR package. No car-specific dyno result was authenticated.
Service item
The seller attributed an idler-pulley replacement to a minor squeak and reported a post-break-in oil change.
Later record
The July 2026 advertisement described a damage-free Carfax and at least one manufacturer customer-service program. Completion status was not verified.
Identity and mileage
VIN and CSM identify the car; rounded auction mileage is historical. Current title, mileage and mechanical operation require an updated inspection.

Factory ratings and installed configuration are identified separately The KR is a Shelby American post-title conversion, not an ordinary Ford factory option code. Factory equipment and conversion content should remain separate in any future advertisement. Production-limit statements differ across Shelby launch material and later auction advertisements; an exact completed-production or color-combination rarity count was not authenticated for this car. Its numbered CSM record and conversion paperwork support identification without inventing a one-of-X claim. The archive includes the Ford window sticker, Shelby conversion paperwork, identification labels and detailed photographs. The Ford document lists a $79,845 total MSRP. The conversion was reported as occurring in 2023; the listing says December, while the original owner described a November return. Treat 2023 as established and resolve the precise completion date against Shelby records before using a month in a sale contract. [1,3,4] The original owner reported approximately 500 miles on the replacement tires and described an oil change after break-in. No current service invoice, diagnostic scan, recall completion certificate or pre-purchase inspection was supplied for this compilation. The later customer-service-program notation calls for a Ford dealer VIN check; it is not automatically the same as an open safety recall. [1,7,8] Public auction pages establish advertised specifications and recorded results, not an uninterrupted legal ownership chain. Later records supersede the older description for historical chronology but do not establish today's status. No paid history report was purchased. The latest reviewed auction says no reported accidents/damage, which does not prove an accident-free life. Confirm current title, mileage, service-program completion and physical condition before representing the car as available. Overview

A Shelby American GT500KR conversion of the 2021 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500, identified by CSM 21KR0027. White paint, blue stripes, bright forged wheels and the blue-accented cabin give this example a coherent Shelby identity. Its original Ford window sticker establishes the Technology and Handling packages; Shelby documentation records the subsequent conversion. The KR adds a larger Whipple supercharger and supporting cooling, chassis, exhaust and carbon-fiber changes. This packet preserves the December 2025 auction configuration and photographs, while the history page records later appearances rather than treating that auction win as proof of current ownership.

This Oxford White 2021 Mustang carries the identity of two separate builds: Ford's supercharged GT500 and Shelby American's subsequent GT500KR conversion. Its blue over-the-top stripes, machined-finish wheels and contrasting dark aerodynamic pieces make the presentation immediately recognizable, while the numbered Shelby plaque provides a more useful point of identification than appearance alone. The archived photographs show the white-and-blue treatment carried through the cabin, with blue upholstery accents and GT500KR embroidery.

The Ford window sticker confirms a well-optioned starting point. Technology Package equipment includes Bang & Olufsen audio, navigation and blind-spot monitoring, while the Handling Package added adjustable strut top mounts. Climate-controlled front seats, the configurable instrument display and a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission preserve the road-car character underneath the later performance conversion. These are documented equipment choices; they do not establish that every system is operating correctly today. [3]

Shelby's KR program combined a 3.8-liter Whipple supercharger with enhanced charge-air cooling, a revised intake, performance half-shafts, recalibrated suspension components and a Shelby/Borla exhaust. Carbon-fiber pieces and one-piece forged wheels complete the package. Manufacturer literature describes 900-plus flywheel horsepower for the program. This car's earlier advertisement used an estimated rear-wheel figure, so a verified chassis-dynamometer result should accompany any vehicle-specific power claim. The two measurement bases should not be treated as equivalent. [2,4]

The visual character is more carefully integrated than a collection of isolated accessories: the blue cabin accents echo the exterior stripes, and the bright wheels reveal the red brake calipers. The original photographs include close views of the bodywork, interior, engine compartment, underside, labels and paperwork, allowing the next custodian to compare the specification against its historical presentation.

The provenance extends beyond the first auction. After the December 2025 result, this exact VIN appeared at Mecum in March and April 2026 and returned to BaT in July, where a $180,000 sale was recorded. That sequence belongs in any future description of the car. Its appeal is the documented Shelby conversion and coordinated specification; its current condition, location and ownership must be confirmed separately. [5-7]

BaT records a $195,000 result to 1587dynasty on December 9, 2025. Exact-VIN research also found two 2026 Mecum appearances and a later BaT sale to nmilner for $180,000 on July 8, 2026. That later listing showed approximately 5,000 miles and a North Carolina title. The older Illinois title and 4,900-mile description are historical. Current owner, location and availability have not been independently established; this is a vehicle record, not confirmation that the car remains PAC inventory. [1,5-7]
